Description
Dragon Fruit, also known in Spanish as pitaya, grows on a cactus originally from Central America. Its name refers to its spike-like exterior. Pitaya is a fruit rich in vitamins, minerals, fiber and antioxidants. Taste-wise it is a cross between kiwi and pear. The powder, “Pink matcha”, is made by freeze-drying the fruit, a process called lyophilization which allows to preserve its nutritional value. Enjoy the powder mixed with yoghourt, juice or ice cream, or just add to your favorite recipes and enjoy its intense magenta colour. Preparation: 2 level tsp / 250 ml hot or cold water
